In addition to the exclusive use cedar hot tubs with breath-taking views that we are world renowned for, Onsen is also home to a tranquil day spa with high quality therapists delivering an extensive range of face and body treatments.
Ideal for individuals or groups up to 4 people, each pool is heated to approx. 38.3 degrees and comes with a retractable roof. You will also receive a complimentary drink and snacks to enjoy during your rejuvenating soak.

The Original Onsen – Indoor Soak
Clients have an exclusive pool room with changing area and shower, overlooking the Shotover Canyon. Includes a complimentary drink and snack package.
• These pool rooms have wooden side walls and a retractable roof so you can switch from an indoor to an outdoor experience at the push of a button.
Towels are included, Swimming costumes are compulsory and they have a choice of an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink and a selection of New Zealand products – either a Whittaker’s chocolate bar, Pure ice cream or Proper hand cooked crisps.
