Coronet Peak Ski Area

Ski New Zealand’s Original. Queenstowners don’t just love Coronet Peak because it’s only 20 minutes’ drive from downtown, or because it’s home to countless secret spots, heart-stopping views and excellent food and coffee. Chat with a local on the lift and you will hear about the night skiing, the cutting-edge facilities, and the back bowls. It will be a short conversation though. Having New Zealand’s best-known ski mountain in Queenstown’s back yard means they are probably getting first tracks on the way to work, so you will understand why they’re smiling. And you may find that feeling’s contagious.
